Spring is almost here and we couldn’t be more excited! As we mentioned before, our foodtruck will resume operations this spring. But that’s not the only reason why we are ecstatic. We are pleased to announce that we will be adding a few items to our menu:
Vegetarian Tacos- Several of our customers have been asking us to include a vegetarian item. In response, we had the wonderful pleasure of serving this at The Goddard School in Franklin last February 16th and received great reviews. Our veggie taco is a mixture of roasted poblano peppers, mushrooms, collard greens, avocado and topped with a sweet chipotle sauce. So good even non-vegetarians might even forget it has no meat.
Steak Nachos – Our regular nachos made better (and crazier). Tortilla chips topped with nacho cheese, tomatoes, steak, sour cream and guacamole (jalapeno optional).
Chicken soft tacos– We often get asked if we have chicken in our menu and we always felt disappointed having to say no. Starting this year, we will be having chicken tacos on our permanent menu.
We’re launching some special items this year as well, like our “El Burro in The Boro”, which is our take on the popular burrito. Burritos are commonly found in northern parts of Mexico. Head to the southern parts of the country and the burrito is not readily consumed by the locals. What they know as burrito may be called a “burro” or a rolled version of the taco.
Speaking of burrito, we are planning to serve some breakfast burritos at the square. Our breakfast burrito comes with chorizo, egg & potatoes. Other planned specials include tacos with mole sauce, cheesy shrimp tacos, shrimp cocktail, steak torta, ham & cheese torta, steak fajita tacos and adobo tacos.
